My story so far...
Studying at various art and design institutions throughout the UK, I obtained my Degree in Graphic & Media Design in 2006 and exhibited my work in that years D&AD New Blood Exhibition in London.
Settling back in Norwich in 2006, and securing a graphic design job in the advertising industry, I worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry sector for various publications in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Using this wealth of experience and my driving ambition, I decided to take the leap and started my own publishing company creating a printed and online magazine from 2013-2019 which promoted sustainability.
From 2013, I have also freelanced with large companies and design agencies. Working with Matchbox Media as their Design Lead, I have honed my design skills into being a driven designer with proven abilities for creative solutions, along with a strong eye for creative problem solving.
After joining Norfolk County Council in 2019 as their Lead Creative Designer, I have overseen and undertaken major creative campaigns for the council, notably through the Covid years where my originality of ideas, quick thinking and strong ability for creating concepts to final design where vital. This has led me to become Norfolk County Council’s Design Manager where I currently manage a team of designers.
